Essential Duties: Ensure implementation of process and procedures to maintain compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations and permits under OSHA, TTB, FRA, EPA and state IDEM. Implement facility’s Emergency Action Plan (EAP), Integrated Contingency Plan (ICP), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC), and Risk Management Plan (RMP). Qualifications: The minimum requirement for education and experience is a four year degree in engineering, safety/environmental sciences or related technical field. Two years of experience in operating industrial facility subject to environmental, health and safety regulations. Consideration will be given to individuals with an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary commensurate with experience, excellent company benefits plan. Responsibilities include setting and controlling the operating parameters for the production facility. Previous process experience a plus but not necessary. The Process Operator will maintain a high awareness of safety, quality and production throughout the plant and be responsible for maintaining and updating all logs and required company records relating to plant production and operation. The qualified candidate must be willing to work a 12 hour day shift with possible nights and have basic computer experience.
